Accelerated learning
Private 1-on-1 lessons with Megan are ideal for adults who want to accelerate, target specific skills, or work around a busy schedule.
Please reach us at tyson@gec2.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Absolutely. Most adults come to us with zero or minimal riding experience. We teach the fundamentals from scratch, and your fitness and coordination matter more than prior experience. Many of our adult students are in better athletic shape than they think.
Polo is a skill, not a genetic gift. We've taught lawyers, accountants, entrepreneurs, and artists—people from all walks of life. Small classes mean Megan can pace instruction to your level. Eight weeks is plenty of time to build basic proficiency.
Saturday 10:30am is another option. Or book private lessons on your own schedule—we can find a time that works. Many busy adults do one weekly class + monthly private sessions, or go full private if group settings don't work.
Yes. By week 8, you'll have the skills and confidence to play in friendly chukkers (low-pressure games with other school graduates). It's not championship polo, but it's real polo. Some graduates book private lessons afterward to keep improving.
We take safety seriously. ASTM-certified helmets, calm school horses, small class sizes, and a certified instructor reduce risk. You're riding at a controlled pace in lessons and small chukkers, not high-speed tournaments. Accidents happen, but we've built safeguards in. Waivers and homeowner's insurance cover liability.
